LIGHT PAINTING
|
The word photography translates as drawing (or writing) with light.
Light painting is when the exposure of your DLSR camera allows you to create a picture using a torch and flash. When you expose the light, the camera takes a picture and afterwards you will then see the image with the light and the image you have created with the light. The slideshow opposite has a selection of light painting images which I find really interesting. Some of them look very imaginative and I love the fact that all of them have different settings. I also love the one with the simple drawings of the stick men as they look very simple. I like the fact that only the light drawing is shown and there are no people within the image-it must have taken a long time. |
I chose this video because it was really easy and simple to understand as it went through each detail about light photography slowly. The video also taught me new things such as using exposure will fade your light painting and you need dark surroundings to take a successful light painting image.
Gjon Mili
I think the images Gjon created are very imaginative and unique, I think that Gjon emerged his passion for skating and photography all in one to create a powerful image.
